About

‘Grateful’ is the latest album offering from Govenek iLow and shows a maturity in song writing with several songs based on everyday life. Still catchy lyrics and tunes for your easy listening preferences. On this album we have managed to capture some humour with Papadom and the free spirit with Holiday, not so much a rollercoaster as a gentle ambiance for all to enjoy.

‘Always’ is a series of songs with links to other places in the world, for example the album cover is from a mural on a wall in Christchurch New Zealand. The city of Christchurch suffered a terrible earthquake when many thousands of people were killed and injured, many of the historical buildings collapsed and the place was left in ruins. The Local Council decided that instead of their citizens having to look at the debris and destruction and be upset that they would have local artists paint the walls of buildings that remained upright with murals of the culture and history of this amazing city on the South Island of New Zealand and so the album cover of Grateful has been taken from one such mural. In fact I released a single called ‘Lost you to heaven’ and the cover for this single is from the Cathedral in Christchurch.

‘Understand’ the Album is a series of light-hearted catchy songs themed on love and relationships. There are 14 songs in total on this lovely first album that take you on a journey through the various stages of relationships from wanting to meet someone, to seeing someone who catches your eye to living with them and so on.
